Recently, Jinan Public Security Bureau anti-drug detachment successfully destroyed a site used to manufacture methamphetamine, captured suspect Li, seized 2 kilograms of semi-finished products and more than 600 kilograms of raw materials, and a methamphetamine making equipment.
According to reports, in June 2021, Li began to learn how to make drugs from the internet. To learn the knowledge as quick as possible, Li paid for a university chemistry class. He then made his own crystal meth in a rental house of a residential area in eastern Jinan.
"Is this guy watching too many TV shows and thinking he's in the Breaking Bad?" a netizen commented.
"With this learning ability, why not do something more meaningful?" another netizen asked.
Li said that he has always been thinking about how to make a fortune at home. One day, Li searched the internet for a way to earn a lot of money and discovered that making crystal meth was cheap and quick.
After he felt that he had learned enough knowledge, he lied to his wife that he was building a cosmetics business, but in fact, he was doing drug-making experiments.
On January 23, 2022, the investigation team found that Li was producing meth at home and was caught after being tracked by authorities for two months.
